Missy chose the book and hosted the discussion, serving a variety of delicious themed food. Even Missy's invitation was themed: "I have been standing in lines for days trying to gather enough food to host book club this Tuesday. Please bring your ration cards to exchange for a bowl of soup (pumpkin) and bread (not sure if Madame Ruelle will have baked a slip of paper with numbers in it or not) along with French wine, cheese, a sweet treat and, of course, canned peached. Please let me know if you can join me (Madame Manec) and our group of women (the Resistance) in the little kitchen at Number 4 rue Vauborel."
The discussion was interesting and the ratings were varied.
