We thought it was a great first book for our club! Some of us had difficulty tracking the characters in the early chapters, so we had to take notes on who was who. Also, the time lapse was sometimes hard to follow, but overall most of us thoroughly enjoyed the book. We enjoyed watching the characters change and evolve, but were a little disappointed in the way the characters felt a need to keep secrets.
